49ers' Vance McDonald: Disappoints in loss Sunday
McDonald was held to nine yards on two catches (four targets) in Sunday's 26-6 loss to Chicago.
Analysis:
Surprisingly, McDonald led the 49ers in receptions on a day where the team mustered just 39 yards through the air. San Francisco ran the ball 69 percent of the time in the snow, rendering all of their passing options useless. The team returns to San Francisco next week where the conditions will surely result in a better showing. The Jets currently give up 50.1 yards per game to opposing tight ends, making McDonald a low-end TE1 in standard formats.
