Patriots' Tom Brady: Cleared to play Sunday vs. Rams

Brady (knee) has been cleared to play in Sunday's Week 13 tilt with the Rams, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Analysis:

Brady was limited at practice throughout the week and was listed as questionable on the Patriots' injury report, but he was never in any serious jeopardy of being held out of the matchup with Los Angeles. Though Brady will be down one of his top targets in Rob Gronkowski (back) the rest of the season, he's proven in the past when Gronkowski has sat out due to injury that he's more than capable of getting the most out of lesser-established receiving options and producing high-end numbers, though we'll note that since 2010, in games with Gronkowski, Brady has averaged 290.8 passing yards per game, while without him that figure slips to 257.5. Brady still looks like a top-tier fantasy option over the final five games.
