Austin (chest) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Patriots, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Analysis:

The Rams boast one of the weakest receiving corps in the league even at full strength, so quarterback Jared Goff and the Los Angeles offense could have even more trouble than usual moving the chains without Austin, who ranks second on the team with 44 receptions, on the sideline. Austin's absence will open up more snaps for the likes of Brian Quick and Pharoh Cooper, but neither represents an especially appealing fantasy option.
