Jaguars' Rashad Greene: Placed on IR

Greene (Achilles) has been placed on the injured reserve list, Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reports.

Analysis:

Greene's season is now officially over after he suffered an Achilles injury last week against the Bills. He had been held without a catch for five consecutive weeks, so his absence won't have much of an impact on the Jaguars' aerial attack. The team promoted Shane Wynn from the practice squad to add depth at receiver.
