Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Modest but efficient performance in Week 13 win

Prescott completed 12 of 18 passes for 139 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in Thursday's 17-15 win over the Vikings. He also gained 37 yards on six rushes and had two fumbles, losing one.

Analysis:

The rookie sensation had a much quieter game than what we've grown accustomed to seeing from him, but did enough to insure a 11th straight victory for the Cowboys. Prescott's yardage total was his lowest of the season and marked his second consecutive week with under 200 yards through the air, but he rushed for over 35 yards for the second straight game as well. Prescott also threw a touchdown for the 10th consecutive contest, with his early fourth-quarter eight-yard scoring dart to Dez Bryant putting the Cowboys up 14-9 at the time. While he was impressively interception-free once again, Prescott did cough up the ball twice, losing one. He'll need to exhibit better ball security in what shapes up as a pivotal divisional battle against the Giants on the road in Week 14.
