Peterson's workload at Tuesday's practice may not seem significant at first glance, but it is a sign that he has been cleared to resume running as he continues to work his way back from late-September knee surgery. Peterson will not be playing in this week's game against the Cowboys and will have to practice before he even has any shot to suit up again, but he appears to be making sound progress in his recovery and will at least have a chance to return to action before the season ends as the Vikings have hoped.
