Browns' Josh McCown: No practice Tuesday

McCown did not take part in Tuesday's practice, likely due to a finger injury, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Analysis:

It's not exactly certain why McCown was held out of Tuesday's session, but he was spotted with a swollen finger Monday, so that seems to be the cause of his absence. The finger issue leaves McCown's status moving forward in question, but he will have extra time to rest and recover with the Browns on bye in Week 13. He started and threw for a healthy 322 yards in Sunday's loss to the Giants, but he may not be under center when the Browns return to action with fellow quarterback and Week 1 starter Robert Griffin (shoulder) back at practice.
