Browns' Josh McCown: Two turnovers in loss to Giants

McCown completed 25 of 43 passes for 322 yards and a touchdown in Week 12's loss to the Giants. He also lost two fumbles.

Analysis:

Starting in place of injured Cody Kessler (concussion), McCown was able to spread the ball around to eight different receivers for a total of 322 yards -- including a 21-yard touchdown pass to Corey Coleman -- but his two turnovers and 18 incompletions marred his day. His two fumbles can be blamed on his offensive line, as the men protecting McCown allowed a whopping seven sacks, but nonetheless, McCown needs to do a better job of protecting the ball if the Browns expect to win a game this season. The Browns have a bye in Week 13, and it's presently unknown who will grab a hold of the quarterback reins against the Bengals the following week.
