Patriots' Rob Gronkowski: Expected to play Sunday

Gronkowsk (chest) is expected to play Sunday against the Jets despite being listed as questionable, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Analysis:

Earlier this week, it was expected that Gronkowski would be unavailable for Week 12. However, somewhat surprisingly, the star tight end subsequently participated at practice in a limited basis throughout the week despite what Schefter reports as bleeding and bruising in his chest. Despite this report, check how Gronkowski does during pregame warmups. It's also possible he may not have an extensive role even if he is able to play.
