Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant didn't mince words when describing his vitriol toward Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman following a 31-26 Thanksgiving victory.
Bryant and Norman engaged in a shoving match after the final whistle, and the Cowboys superstar unleashed on the Redskins cornerback in his postgame interviews.
Here are some of Bryant's most shocking quotes after a tension-filled afternoon:
- "I was just wearing his ass out the whole night. I enjoyed it. Washington needs to get their money back," Bryant told Jane Slater of ESPN, referring to Norman's five-year, $75-million contract signed earlier this spring.
- "I honestly feel like the guy is extremely soft. I think he's just a bunch of talk," he said, according to David Helman of DallasCowboys.com. "If he is out and about, I wouldn't a day in my life let him talk to me like that. Those words wouldn't never come out his month, promise. I promise it wouldn't. But on another note, we got after that ass. Hell of a win. It feels good."
- "He just be talkin' man. It's stupid. It's really stupid," he continued. "He's just not about that life. He's not. He's not about that life - not at all. It's to the point where I might just leave him alone. But after this week, I've got to put the film out - how I done him. After that, I'll leave him alone."
- "You supposed to be a lockdown corner, and you can't even play man ..." he said, according to Lorenzo Reyes of USA Today. "He was scared."
- "I would've beat him up. Right on the field."
