49ers' Colin Kaepernick: Struggles in second half

Kaepernick completed 16 of 30 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 30-17 loss to the Patriots. He also ran four times for 32 yards.

Analysis:

Despite getting sacked five times in the first half, Kaepernck performed well, completing 8 of 9 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown. He struggled in the second half, although he did manage to toss a 13-yard touchdown to Shaun Draughn with about two minutes left in the game. The elusive QB had to deal with extremely wet weather the entire contest, so things could have been worse. Next week, Kaepernick will face the Dolphins in Miami.
