Patriots' Dion Lewis: Posts eight touches in season debut

Lewis made his season debut Sunday at San Francisco, rushing five times for 23 yards, while catching three of four targets for 26 yards.

Analysis:

Lewis was in the backfield on the Patriots first offensive snap of the game, and caught a nine-yard pass just two players later. Like last year, he looked shifty and quick with the ball in his hands. Meanwhile, James White had six receptions on six targets for 62 yards, including a nine-yard touchdown grab. It remains to be seen how much work Lewis will get in the upcoming weeks, as White has established himself as a solid option out of the backfield for the Patriots. It's a great dilemma for New England, but might not be for fantasy owners. In any event, Lewis will square off against the Jets on the road next week.
