Greatness begets greatness and Hall of Fame running back Tony Dorsett has provided Dallas Cowboys rookie standout Ezekiel Elliott with his blessing.
Dorsett set the Cowboys' rookie rushing record in 1977, running for 1,007 yards en route to capturing Offensive Rookie of the Year honors.
Elliott, who leads the NFL with 1,005 rushing yards, is almost certain to break Dorsett's record Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, and the four-time Pro Bowler will be in attendance Sunday.
