Cardinals' Tyrann Mathieu: Limited Wednesday

Mathieu (shoulder) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Analysis:

Mathieu's upcoming availability is contingent upon his recovery from a shoulder subluxation, but he's missed just one game due to the team's Week 9 bye. There's an expectation from head coach Bruce Arians that Mathieu will play Sunday in Minnesota, which will require a harness on his shoulder. Notably, though, Mathieu will meet with a doctor Wednesday to determine whether he can remove the brace from his right knee, according to Kyle Odegard of the Cardinals' official site. Assuming his shoulder doesn't constrain him and he receives clearance to return Sunday, he could be a few short games away from the dynamic self that represented his 2015 season (before the torn ACL, of course).
