Rob Gronkowski knows a good hit when he sees one - or feels one.

After the New England Patriots tight end reportedly suffered some sort of chest injury courtesy of an Earl Thomas hit Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks safety reached out to Gronk, wishing him well.

Gronkowski, who called the shot "one of the hardest" of his career, responded later Tuesday, squashing any potential bad blood between the two and commending Thomas for his physicality.

Reminder: this is what a real football hit looks like.
