Buccaneers' Evans wrote on Instagram that he didn't vote

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans announced after Sunday's game that he sat during the national anthem in protest of President-elect Donald Trump. It appears he also wrote on Election Day that he chose not to vote.

Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times tweeted a screengrab Monday showing Evans responding "No" to an Instagram post by teammate Louis Murphy asking: "Who voted? Who didn't?"

When Evans informed the media of his protest, he also conceded that he doesn't dabble into politics - his stance is purely one in disagreement of the election's result.

"I'm not big on politics," he said, according to Auman. "I told myself, 'If this happens, then America's not right right now.' I said this a long time ago. When he ran, I thought it was a joke. And the joke continues. I'm not a political person that much, but I've got common sense. I know when something's not right."
