Patriots' Dion Lewis: Practicing, but still on PUP list

Lewis (knee/PUP list) was present for practice once again Wednesday, the Boston Herald reports.

Analysis:

Per ESPN's Mike Reiss, the Patriots have until Nov. 17 to activate Lewis from their PUP list and add him to the team's active roster. In terms of the running back's Week 10 playing prospects, the team would need to make a move by Saturday afternoon in order for Lewis to be eligible for Sunday night's game against the Seahawks. There's been talk that Lewis has been moving well on the practice field, but we suspect that once he is activated, and such an outcome is hardly a lock this week, he'd be eased back into the team's backfield mix, likely splitting passing back duties with James White.
