Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller is in top form and the New Orleans Saints certainly took notice Wednesday ahead of their upcoming game.

Miller recorded 9.5 sacks in nine games and is the presumptive Defensive Player of the Year favorite at this juncture of the season.

The reigning Super Bowl MVP drew praise from the Saints' most important assets as a result.

"He's elite. And you would say probably - no, you would say clearly - I think the best pass-rusher in our game right now," Saints head coach Sean Payton said of Miller to ESPN's Mike Triplett.

Drew Brees echoed Payton's sentiment in greater detail.

"He's so explosive,” Brees said.

"He's such a great athlete. Even when he drops in coverage, he can flip his hips and run and do some things that you say for a guy that big and strong and powerful, that's pretty incredible. And then obviously when he rushes the passer, the first thing you notice is his get-off. The minute that ball's snapped, he is upfield and wreaking havoc. He's got all kinds of variety when it comes to his pass-rush moves. He's got power, he's got speed, quickness, spin. I mean, he can do it all."

New Orleans has surrendered a mere 12 sacks to date, and it'll be compelling to see how it slows the NFL's marquee pass-rusher.
