Jets' Ryan Fitzpatrick: Limited at practice Wednesday

Fitzpatrick (knee) was limited at practice Wednesday, ESPN's Rich Cimini reports.

Analysis:

While that's a positive indicator for the signal-caller, coach Todd Bowles noted Wednesday that he's still not sure if the veteran QB will be able to start Sunday's game against the Rams. For his part, Fitzpatrick said Wednesday that he's "definitely optimistic" he can play this weekend, but that's hardly a lock. If he is unable to go, Bryce Petty would draw the Jets' Week 10 starting QB assignment.
