Kaepernick opts against casting vote in election

Having publicly criticized Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in recent months, it was unclear how Colin Kaepernick would vote in Tuesday's presidential election.

As it turns out, the San Francisco 49ers quarterback still opposes each candidate too much to support either. He told reporters Tuesday that he hadn't voted, and had no plans to do so, via Matt Barrows of The Sacramento Bee.

Kapernick, who's been kneeling during pregame national anthems as a means of taking a stand against social injustice, ripped both candidates following the first presidential debate back in September.

"Both are proven liars, and it almost seems like they're trying to debate who's less racist," Kaepernick said. "At this point - talking to one of my friends - you have to pick the lesser of two evils. But in the end, it's still evil."
