Chargers' Antonio Gates: Scores early in win over Titans

Gates caught five of nine targets for 75 yards and a score in Sunday's win over Tennessee.

Analysis:

Gates got San Diego on the board early with a 13-yard score on a quick little flag route. Gates was hampered by a hamstring injury early in the season and appeared to be losing his hold on the starting job to rookie Hunter Henry. He's proven that his chemistry with Philip Rivers reigns supreme with or without Henry, who was out Sunday, in the lineup. Since returning from a two-game absence in Week 5, Gates has caught at least four passes in four of five games with three touchdowns.
