Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Turns in best week of practice since suffering injuries

Wilson was "really at his best" this week in practice, according to coach Pete Carroll, as he continues to recover from ankle, knee and pectoral injuries, the Seattle Times reports.

Analysis:

Wilson's high-ankle sprain seems to be nearly recovered (he did not wrap it for last week's game), and he'll wear a smaller, lighter knee brace this week, which could help his mobility. Carroll said "there's no question" Wilson significantly improved in practice this week, though his optimism should be taken with a grain of salt. Until Wilson is healthy, the Seahawks offense likely will continue to struggle.
