Winston suffers knee injury, Evans evaluated for concussion

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston and wide receiver Mike Evans left Thursday's game against the Atlanta Falcons with various injuries during the fourth quarter.

Winston suffered a knee injury as he sprinted towards the end zone, getting drilled by Falcons linebacker Brooks Reed and defensive back Jalen Collins. The quarterback was slow to get up and headed to the sidelines.

Before leaving the game, Winston went 23-of-37 for 261 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions, while rushing for 14 yards on two attempts. Winston was replaced by Mike Glennon, who went 10-of-11 for 75 yards and a touchdown.

Evans was taken to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion. The wideout was in the midst of a spectacular game, recording 11 receptions for 150 yards and two touchdowns.

The Falcons defeated the Buccaneers 43-28 as Matt Ryan completed 25-of-34 passes for 344 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions in the winning effort.
