Browns' Corey Coleman: No protective gear needed

Coleman (hand) won't be required to wear protective gear while returning to practice, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.

Analysis:

Coleman was limited as he took the field last week for the first time since breaking his hand after Week 2, but after recent X-rays checked out fine, he's been cleared to return to practice without protection this week. That certainly bodes well for his availability this Sunday against the Cowboys, who currently sport just three healthy cornerbacks. While Coleman's practice level will need to be checked as the week unfolds, his seven catches for 173 yards and two touchdowns prior to being injured should excite owners for his return.
