Washington (ankle) took part in practice Wednesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Analysis:

Washington missed the Lions' entire three-game homestand due to an ankle injury and was joined by current No. 1 RB Theo Riddick (ankle) the past two outings.
