Cousins wearing sunglasses at night to prepare for London game

Brett Davis / USA TODAY Sports

Kirk Cousins wants to be prepared for this week's game in London. Maybe too prepared.

The Washington Redskins quarterback has began adjusting his schedule to prepare for the 9:30 a.m. ET start time and five-hour time change. He's going to bed earlier, getting up earlier, and for some reason, wearing sunglasses at night.

"I'm going to be right now starting to adjust," Cousins said, via his team's website. "Start getting to bed earlier each night, getting up earlier, wearing sunglasses at night, little things just to try to make that adjustment as quickly as possible so I don't feel it this weekend when we get there."

Going to face the Cincinnati Bengals will be the first time Cousins has ever played overseas, so he's going to every possible extent to adjust his body clock.

That, or he's just a big Corey Hart fan and this was the best chance to pull off the look without too many questions.
