Rams' Jared Goff: Getting some first-team reps during bye week

Goff will get some first-team reps during the bye week even though Case Keenum is not in immediate danger of losing the starting job, Myles Simmons of TheRams.com reports.

Analysis:

Keenum threw four interceptions in Sunday's 17-10 loss to the Giants, but head coach Jeff Fisher strongly suggested that at least a couple of the picks weren't actually the quarterback's fault. Keenum also happened to play his best game of the season the previous week, throwing for 321 yards while accounting for all four touchdowns in a 31-28 loss to the Lions. Goff will get some first-team reps during the bye week, but Fisher left no doubt that Keenum will start in Week 9 against Carolina. The rookie could still get his shot before the end of the season if Keenum doesn't come out of the bye week strong.
