The sixth quarterback to appear in a game for the Cleveland Browns isn't expecting to see any action Sunday against the New York Jets.

Kevin Hogan, who relieved Cody Kessler in last week's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, says he will prepare like he's starting, but expects either Kessler or Josh McCown to return from injury for the game, according to Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal.

Kessler would have to clear the league's concussion protocol, while McCown is working his way back from a collarbone injury suffered in Week 2.

Head coach Hue Jackson confirmed during his postgame comments Sunday that "there's a chance" McCown could be ready to go in Week 8.

Hogan, a fifth-round rookie out of Stanford, flashed some skill against the Bengals, rushing for 104 yards and a touchdown in the loss.

The Browns also claimed former Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints quarterback Joe Callahan on Monday.
