Cardinals' Jaron Brown: ACL tear likely

After an initial round of tests, Brown sustained a torn ACL in Sunday's tie with the Seahawks, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Analysis:

Brown came up lame at the end of last Monday's win against the Jets, missing practice Wednesday and Thursday before turning in a limited showing to close out the week. Although he was questionable for Sunday's contest, his services were required in Week 7 due to John Brown's (leg) absence, but he was target-less upon his departure in the second quarter. He'll undergo further evaluation to confirm the extent of the injury, after which the Cardinals will likely place the wideout on injured reserve.
