Cardinals' Arians irate over non-call on blocked FG

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians was fuming after Sunday's 6-6 tie with the Seattle Seahawks, angered by a non-call on linebacker Bobby Wagner.

In the second quarter, Wagner hurdled the line of scrimmage to block a field-goal attempt by Cardinals kicker Chandler Catanzaro, which kept the game scoreless. The Seahawks linebacker appeared to make contact with a Cardinals offensive lineman, and Arians strongly believes that he ought to have been penalized as a result.

Arians doesn't expect much to change, however.

"I'll talk to the league and we'll get some kind of explanation that's all bulls--t, like normal," Arians said during his press conference.

In a frenetic overtime period, Catanzaro missed what would've been the game-winning, 24-yard field goal. On the ensuing drive, Seattle's Stephen Hauschka missed a 28-yard attempt and the game ended in a 6-6 draw.

"You get paid to make it," Arians said of Catanzaro's botched attempt.
