Seahawks' C.J. Prosise: Won't necessarily be active Sunday

Head coach Pete Carroll declined to say whether Prosise (wrist) will be active for Sunday's game in Arizona, ESPN.com's Sheil Kapadia reports.

Analysis:

Free of any designation on the final injury report, Prosise is seemingly ready to play from a health standpoint. He was once considered the favorite to play on obvious passing downs, but C.J. Spiller has been effective in that role since joining the team, hauling in five of eight targets for 43 yards and a touchdown through two games. While the rookie may still be ticketed for Seattle's passing-down role in the long run, he won't necessarily seize it anytime soon.
