John Brown diagnosed with sickle cell trait, doubtful vs. Seahawks

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver John Brown was diagnosed with sickle cell trait, and is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Brown was previously believed to be suffering from a hamstring injury.

"We're investigating how to help him," Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians said.

Brown has caught 24 passes for 301 yards in six games this season.

"I think he's very happy he found out why his legs are hurting so bad," Arians said.
