Seahawks' Jimmy Graham: Returns to practice and ready to play

Head coach Pete Carroll said Graham (hip/knee) looked great at Friday's practice and is ready for Sunday's game in Arizona, Liz Mathews of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Analysis:

Graham has been present on the injury report all season due to his surgically repaired knee, but there was some concern when he missed Thursday's practice while listed with a new hip injury. Head coach Pete Carroll said the tight end was merely rested due to some residual soreness from last week's game, suggesting Graham should be fine to handle his usual workload in Sunday's difficult matchup against Arizona. If there was any doubt remaining, Graham erased it when he returned to practice as a full participant Friday, leaving him without any designation on the final injury report, according to John Boyle of the team's official website. He's caught exactly six passes on either eight or nine targets in each of the last three games, notably playing a season-high 63 snaps (96 percent) in last week's win over the Falcons. With No. 2 TE Luke Willson (knee) out for the foreseeable future, Graham may again be asked to play upward of 90 percent of the snaps.
