Steelers' Williams among key starters ruled out vs. Patriots

DeAngelo Williams and Ben Roethlisberger head a list of Pittsburgh Steelers ruled out for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots.

Williams is out with a knee injury and Roethlisberger will miss several weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. Also out for Sunday's game is tackle Marcus Gilbert with an ankle ailment, defensive end Cameron Heyward with a hamstring issue, and wide receiver Markus Wheaton with a shoulder problem.

Quarterback Landry Jones, running back Le'Veon Bell, and receiver Antonio Brown will have to carry the offensive load.

The Patriots' injury report has yet to be released.
