Josh Norman considering miming beer-drinking celebration in protest of penalties

Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman plans to expose the NFL's hypocrisy over touchdown celebrations, that drew penalties throughout the season.

Redskins tight end Vernon Davis was penalized after pantomiming a free throw during Sunday's victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, and Norman found a creative way to get the league's attention with a mime of his own.

"I'll say this," Norman said Thursday to USA TODAY's Charlotte Wilder. "Since they sell beer on TV while kids are watching it, I'm thinking I might open a keg on the field, and I’m going to drink it on the field. And I don’t see that being on the rule book."

It's a fair point raised by Norman, and the Redskins' upcoming matchup against the Detroit Lions may have become must-watch viewing as a result.
