The New York Giants released a statement Thursday, announcing that kicker Josh Brown will not travel to London ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.

Brown - who was suspended one game to begin the season - was found to have admitted multiple incidents of domestic violence against his ex-wife in newly released documents, which the NFL will investigate as a result.

The Giants released the following statement via e-mail:

Josh Brown will not travel with the team to London.

In light of the news reports regarding the documents released by the State of Washington yesterday, we think it makes sense to review this newly disclosed information and to revisit this issue following our trip to London.

The Giants do not condone or excuse any form of domestic violence. Josh has acknowledged that he has issues in his life and has been working on these issues through therapy and counseling for a long period of time. We remain supportive of Josh and his efforts.

Giants co-owner John Mara also condemned Brown's alleged behavior.

"We felt the best course of action was to make Josh inactive for this game," Mara said according to The MMQB's Albert Breer.

Brown's ex-wife, Molly, alleged the NFL moved her and her children to a different hotel during last season`s Pro Bowl weekend in Hawaii, after the kicker invited her despite their ongoing divorce.
