Redskins' Josh Doctson: Continues to miss practice

Doctson (Achilles) continued to miss practice Thursday.

Analysis:

During the same news conference in which Jay Gruden stated Doctson could land on injured reserve Monday, the head coach noted it's "safe to say" the rookie wideout will sit out through the Redskins' Week 9 bye, according to The Washington Post. If the prediction comes to pass, Doctson will have to wait until Nov. 13 against the Vikings for his first potential game action since Week 2. In the meantime, rest and rehabilitation will dominate his weekly regimen.
