Redskins' Su'a Cravens: Returns to practice Thursday

Cravens (concussion) was a full participant in Thursday's practice but will still visit an independent doctor on Friday.

Analysis:

Cravens passed league concussion protocol as he took the field for the entirety of Thursday's practice. Head coach Jay Gruden said the linebacker "looked great" in practice, a reassuring sign that Cravens will be ready for Sunday's tilt with the Lions. However, if his visit with the independent doctor derails him from playing, expect Terence Garvin to see extra reps as a reserve linebacker.
