Kansas City Chiefs star running back Jamaal Charles is questionable for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints after experiencing swelling in his surgically repaired knee that limited him in Friday's practice.

Charles returned to the lineup in Week 4 after suffering a torn ACL in 2015. However, he saw limited action in that game, and although his role increased in Week 6 after the Chiefs' bye, he was still out-snapped by Spencer Ware.

While it's unclear how serious the setback will be for Charles, the Chiefs are likely to be cautious with his health given his history. Last year's torn ACL was the second of the veteran back's career.

If Charles is unable to go, Ware should continue to see the majority of carries.
