Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy was a surprise participant at practice Friday and has a chance to play in Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.

ESPN's Josina Anderson reported Thursday that McCoy will miss the game and possibly additional games with a hamstring injury, but that isn't certain to be the case. Bills head coach Rex Ryan told reporters he'll be a game-time decision Sunday.

"Shady wants to play ... We're not ruling Shady out," Ryan told reporters, according to Matthew Fairburn of New York Upstate.

McCoy is officially listed as questionable.

"I was very limited today. We'll see how it feels Sunday. Just trying to be smart," the running back said of his involvement in Friday's session.
