Dolphins' Jay Ajayi: Likely to start and maintain leading role
AJayi will likely start and serve as the lead back, Andy Cohen of MiamiDolphins.com reports.
Analysis:
Ajayi rumbled for 204 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Arian Foster's return from a hamstring injury, out-touching his veteran teammate 26-5 in Sunday's win over the Steelers. While the split won't necessarily be so drastic in the coming weeks, Ajayi couldn't have made a stronger argument to maintain the lead-back role. Foster figures to have a complementary role in Week 7 against Buffalo, potentially taking advantage of his prowess as a pass catcher.
