Cardinals' David Johnson: Dominates in Monday night win

Johnson rushed 22 times for 111 yards and three touchdowns in Monday night's win over the Jets. He also caught three passes (on six targets) for 27 receiving yards.

Analysis:

Johnson opened the scoring with a 58-yard, first-quarter touchdown run that showed an incredible blend of vision, patience and explosiveness. That play marked Johnson's longest rushing touchdown of his career thus far, and the second-year pro followed it up with a pair of two-yard plunges later on. After his three-score performance, Johnson now leads the NFL with eight rushing touchdowns, scoring five in his past two games alone. The Cardinals tailback is also up to 568 rushing yards through six games, nearly matching his rookie total already. All in all, Johnson demonstrated Monday night just why he's considered one of the best players at his position even at this early stage in his career.
