Cowboys' Dez Bryant: Week 8 return expected
Bryant (knee) expects to play in Week 8 against the Eagles following the Cowboys' Week 7 bye, Jane Slater of NFL Network reports.
Analysis:
Bryant has been sidelined since suffering a tibial plateau fracture in his right knee in Week 3 but returned as a limited practice participant last week. That resulted in a questionable tag prior to Sunday's absence versus the Packers, but Bryant made a point of revealing that he'll be back in action after Dallas' current bye week. While his status should be updated once the Cowboys reconvene, Bryant could conceivably be upgraded to a full participant in the buildup to Week 8's game against the Eagles, which would only serve to boost an already-impressive Cowboys offense.
