Cowboys' Tony Romo: Tough decision awaits

The Cowboys will wait until Romo (back) is 100 percent before making a decision on their starting quarterback, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Analysis:

Dak Prescott's impressive play as a rookie has afforded the Cowboys such a luxury, but Romo's own injury history is certainly playing a role as well. To this point in the season, the team had been targeting a return following the team's Week 7 bye. However, Romo has yet to practice as he deals with swelling in his healing back, so the aforementioned call may not come until Week 9 at the earliest. By any indication, Dallas' brass seems to be contemplating moving forward with Prescott as the No. 1 and Romo in reserve.
