Cardinals' Carson Palmer: Could be cleared Tuesday

Palmer is anticipated by coach Bruce Arians to clear concussion protocol Tuesday, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports.

Analysis:

Palmer has been subject to the league's concussion protocol since being knocked out of last Sunday's game against the Rams, and although that resulted in him missing Thursday's win in San Francisco, the veteran could get the green light to return Tuesday. That would allow Palmer a full week of practice ahead of next Monday night's Week 6 contest versus the Jets, which would obviously be a good development for the Cardinals and fantasy owners alike.
