Texans' Lamar Miller: Quiet in loss to Vikings

Miller rushed just eight times for 20 yards and caught only one of three targets for four yards Sunday in Minnesota.

Analysis:

Miller's workload was limited with Houston falling behind 24-0 midway through the second quarter. The team's leading rusher in this one was actually backup Alfred Blue, who turned six carries into 39 yards. Blue should still be largely a non-factor in competitive games, meaning Miller's 23-carry per game average heading into this one should be more indicative of his workload moving forward. The former Dolphins running back is still looking for his first touchdown with the Texans, though.
