Chicago Bears quarterback Brian Hoyer will not return to Thursday's game against the Green Bay Packers after injuring his arm in the second quarter.
Hoyer, who is filling in for injured starter Jay Cutler, was taken for X-rays immediately and replaced by Matt Barkley.
The injury occurred when Hoyer took a big hit in the pocket. He left the field immediately, holding his left forearm.
Barkley last appeared in a game in 2014, and only saw significant snaps during the 2013 season with the Philadelphia Eagles.
