Jones downplays 300-yard game: 'They're just numbers'

After torching the Carolina Panthers to the tune of 12 receptions, 300 yards, and a touchdown, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones feels no different than he did prior to Sunday's game.

"To me, they're just numbers. Stats. I went out and did what my team needed me to do today for us to win. Just like Matt did, just like the line did all day. I'm no different," Jones, who leads the NFL with 488 receiving yards, told The MMQB's Peter King.

Despite his superb individual accomplishment, he viewed the game as a team win.

"I'm very pleased. All I can do is go out and play 100 percent and let my production speak. But in this game, you rely so much on everyone else. We had a good team game today."

Jones will face a considerably tougher matchup next Sunday, squaring off against a Denver Broncos defense that boasts two Pro Bowl corners in Chris Harris and Aqib Talib.
