Norman on Jones dropping 300 on Panthers: 'I'm just going to sip my tea'

Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman had a sardonic response to news that Atlanta Falcons wideout Julio Jones posted 300 yards receiving against Norman's former Carolina Panthers teammates Sunday.

"I'm just going to sip my tea on that one," Norman told CSN Mid-Atlantic's JP Finlay, a reference to the Kermit the Frog "but that's none of my business" meme.

The Panthers decided to rescind the franchise tag from the All-Pro Norman earlier this season rather than give him a big-money contract. He departed for the Redskins on a five-year, $75-million deal.

The Panthers never surrendered 300 yards to Jones, or any other receiver, while Norman was on the squad, but it's worth noting that Jones did manage 178 yards receiving and a touchdown the last time Norman covered him for the Panthers.
