Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Active Sunday

Wilson (knee/ankle) is listed as active Sunday against the Jets in New York, Liz Mathews of 710 ESPN Seattle reports. "He's looking pretty good," Wilson's rehab specialist Drew Marcos told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. "Obviously he's not 100 percent, but he's able to do what he needs to do to lead the team as the QB. He's not going to be his typical mobile self, but he'll be able to sit in the pocket and do what he does."

Analysis:

Wilson is expected to don a custom brace on his left knee that's typically used by players coming off ACL tears. As mentioned by Marcos, Wilson's wizardry of movement is expected to be limited by the sprained MCL in his left knee, which doesn't lend itself to an effective outing behind a porous offensive line. However, the Jets' secondary has been burned for 300-plus passing yards in two of three games this season, aiding in Wilson's prospects.
